Three injured in separate accidents

A car and semitruck collided Tuesday morning at the intersection of McLeod County Rd. 1 (old 261) and Highway 7.

The state patrol was called to the accident at 11:30 a.m. According to the state patrol a 1994 Ford Explorer, driven by Bradley Muehlenhardt, 24, of Belle Plain was southbound on County Rd. 1. He went through the intersection and collided with the rear of a semi truck trailer, driven by Donny Cross, 38 of Kimball, So. Dak.

Cross and his passenger, Jamie Ford, 41, of Sioux Falls, So. Dak. were not injured.

Muehlenhardt was transported to Waconia Ridgeview Hospital, then to Hennepin County Medical Center.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.

Two people were injured in a one vehicle crash near Sherman Station.

On Wednesday at 7:05 p.m. the McLeod County Sheriff's Department and Winsted Fire Department were called to the crash at the intersection of 230th Street and Flower Rd., west of Winsted.

The driver, Jeremy Marshall of Winsted and his passenger, Christopher Schlueter of Winsted were transported to Waconia Ridgeview Hospital by the Winsted/Ridgeview ambulance.

The vehicle, a 1996 Ford owned by Jamie Samuelson, sustained damages in excess of $1,000.
