Winsted city offices may have to move againOctober 31 could be moving day again for the city office. Tuesday, the Winsted City Council officially received notice that SJ&F Enterprises intends to buy the Niro-Sterner building. The city currently rents office space in that building. Mayor Don Guggemos said the city must give its approval of the sale and did receive the documents to do so. The council authorized the clerk and mayor to sign them after the city attorney reviews the agreement. The council briefly discussed what it should do for office
space. Council member Gary Lenz said it could look at installing temporary
walls in one of the stalls of the new fire hall, which is under construction. |
