Woman found in rural ditch

Local authorities were called at 8:09 a.m. Wednesday on a report of an injured female in the ditch on Wright Co. Rd. 6 about one mile north of Winsted.

According to Wright County Sheriff Don Hozempa, the 40-year-old Watertown woman was reported missing last Monday by Carver County Sheriff's Department.

Hozempa said the woman was disoriented and had an injury to her foot. She was treated by Winsted Ambulance personnel and was transported to Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia for treatment and observation.

Hozempa said the department has determined there was no criminal activity connected to this incident.
