1998Douglas Leon Jaster, 39, of Hutchinson was arraigned on April 3 on an indictment handed down by the McLeod County Grand Jury on April 2.
The indictment charges Jaster with two counts of murder in the second degree and one count of felony assault resulting in the death of Michael Toovey on or about Feb. 20 or 21, 1998.
Bail was set at $700,000 and the defendant was scheduled
to reappear in McLeod County District court on April 16, 1998.
