Herman movie to be filmed in New Germany

The movie, "Herman USA" will be in film production in August in New Germany.

Men, women and children of all ages are needed to appear in the movie as paid extras and featured extras.

"Herman USA" is a romantic comedy currently in pre-production in Minneapolis.

The feature film was written by William Semans and produced by Jeffrey Hohman, Patrick Wells and William Semans, all long-time Minnesota residents.

The story follows the residents of the small farming community of Herman, Minn., that in 1994, advertised for women to come and meet their abundance of eligible bachelors.

The ensuring melee turned out to be more than anyone bargained for. It's a story of loneliness, hope and love.
