Quast Transfer opens new terminal in Missouri

Quast Transfer, Inc. has announced the opening of its new terminal in Joplin, Mo. to provide better support for its customers in the area.

The Joplin terminal is headed by Timothy Papin, who joined Quast Transfer in April with more than nine years of operations and sales experience in the transportation industry.

With the addition of the Joplin terminal, the Minnesota-based less-than-truckload (LTL) carrier has 30 shipping terminals in the nine-state region of Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois. The Joplin terminal offers overnight service to hundreds of destinations including Minneapolis, Chicago and St. Louis.

"Quast Transfer provides the most extensive LTL service in the nine-state region," said Papin. "This new terminal underscores our commitment to customers in the Joplin area. With our expanded service area, we can help Joplin area business provide better service to their customers."

Randy Quast, president of Quast Transfer, Inc, said the new facility will open with the same high standards that Quast has established in all of its terminals.
