Rollover accident injures one
A single car, rollover accident injured Michael Curtis, 21, of Maple Lake Feb. 12, reported Wright County Sheriff Don Hozempa.
The accident happened on Wright Co. Rd. 7 about 6:30 p.m., as the 1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass was heading south past The Greens golf course near Howard Lake.
Hozempa said that the vehicle went off the road, hit an approach, and struck a utility pole.
Howard Lake Fire and Ambulance Departments were called to the scene and extricated the man from the crushed car.
He was transported to the Buffalo hospital, and then air-lifted to North Memorial Hospital. Curtis was discharged Thursday.
The accident reconstruction expert from Wright County said the roads were in good driving condition, but speed and possibly alcohol contributed to the accident.
