Region 7 Dairy Princess crowned Michele Dammann, 22 daughter of Donald and Carol Dammann of Glencoe, McLeod County, was crowned Region 7 Dairy Princess at ceremonies June 23 in Buffalo. Counties in Region 7 are Carver, Hennepin, McLeod, and Wright. Runners-up are Rachel Gramith (left), 18, daughter of John and Kari Gramith of Norwood, Carver County and Elizabeth Hlavka (right), 21, daughter of Ronald and Diane Hlavka of Silver Lake, McLeod County. Dammann will be one of 10 regional dairy princesses to vie for the title of Princess Kay of the Milky Way, Wednesday, Aug. 25, the evening prior to the opening of the Minnesota State Fair.
