Herald makes Twin Cities TV, radio

The Howard Lake-Waverly Herald made Twin Cities television
and radio last week with its election coverage.
Waverly Mayor Charles Bush, running unopposed, was re-elected
to his position Nov. 7 with 307 votes.
Imitating the Star Tribune's presidential election headline,
the Herald declared "BUSH WINS CLIFFHANGER" in huge, upper-case
type on its front page last week.
A KSTP-TV crew interviewed both Bush and Herald general
manager Dale Kovar, who wrote the headline, Wednesday. It aired on KSTP's
channel 45 newscast that evening.
Kovar also was interviewed on Don Shelby's radio program
on WCCO Wednesday afternoon. |
