Design a flag for the City of Howard Lake The Howard Lake City Council is offering $50 to the winner of a design contest to create a flag for the city of Howard Lake. Everyone is eligible. Just submit your drawing by Saturday, May 1 to city hall along with your name, address, and phone number. Entries will be judged by the city council. The presentation of a $50 savings bond will be made at the Good Neighbor Days celebration in June. Ultimately the flag will be displayed at city hall and be available for purchase by private citizens.
