Hollywood's 30th reunion includes fast-pitch teams Hollywood Sports Complex will be the site of a 30th reunion of fastpitch softball teams that played in 1969 when the lights went up at Hollywood. Kenny and Delores Theisen, owners during that time, will be on hand to share stories. The reunion will be Saturday, Sept. 11, with the following teams: 9:30 a.m. Waverly Streakers, managed by Chopper vs Bob's Red and White of Delano, managed by Ed Schaust; 11:15 a.m. Watertown Lanes vs Mayer (teams from R & V, Heldt's, and Crow's Nest); 1 p.m. Old Timers Delano vs Hollywood; 2:15 p.m. Hollywood Store vs Sterner's of Winsted; 4 p.m. Custer's of Howard Lake vs Stingers of Waverly. Photos of former teams that played in Hollywood will be on display in the old schoolhouse throughout the day. If you played fastpitch during the 1960s or 1970s, come on out for the fun.
