Rabid cat bites boy in WaverlyA seven-year-old boy was bitten at his home in Waverly by a stray cat July 24, according to the Wright County Sheriff's Department. Testing by a veterinarian from the Minnesota Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory found that the cat had rabies. The cat is described as a young adult short-haired female, mostly white with brown tabby markings and yellow eyes. Anyone who had contact and was bitten or scratched by a cat matching this description is asked to contact the Wright County Sheriff's Office at (763) 682-1162. |
