Ridgeview Howard Lake clinic contract extended
The city of Howard Lake and Ridgeview Medical Center have signed a three-year extended contract, renewing the services provided by the Ridgeview Howard Lake Medical Clinic.
"Ridgeview is happy to make this long-term commitment to the community of Howard Lake and surrounding area," said Bob Stevens, president and CEO, Ridgeview Medical Center.
"The clinic and Ridgeview have had tremendous response by the community, and the city and its leaders have been wonderful to work with. We look forward to strengthening our relationship as we continue to serve the health care needs of the greater Howard Lake community."
Since the clinic reopened last spring, several medical specialties have been added to the scope of services and it is now open five days a week. Medical staff include: Martin Dvorak, M.D. and Kevin White, D.O., both internal medicine specialists; Katie Trimble, certified physician assistant, family practice; Robert Ahrens, M.D., obstetrics-gynecology; Robert Heeter, M.D., orthopedics; and Stacey White, D.P.M., podiatry. A certified nurse practitioner will be added to the staff this spring.
"The city of Howard Lake is very pleased that Ridgeview has renewed this contract. The clinic, physicians, staff and the entire Ridgeview organization are filling a great need in our community, and we are excited that they have faith in our town," said Howard Lake Mayor Gerry Smith.
"Each day, I hear more positive comments about the clinic and the quality of care our residents receive. It means a lot that our health care needs are being met by such a fine group of people."
The Ridgeview Howard Lake Medical Clinic is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. For information or to schedule an appointment, call 320-543-2591.
