Son of local woman dies in car accident An automobile accident in California claimed the life of Ryan Sporlein, 39, of Rialto, Calif., March 27. Ryan was the son of Dorothy Novak of Howard Lake and the late Walt Sporlein. The accident occurred about 1 p.m. as Ryan was on his way home from work. He was a passenger in the car. Ryan was married and has three children. He leaves behind a brothers Tony Sporlein and Tom Novak of Glencoe, and sisters Gail Weispfennig of Hutchinson, and Noel Painschab of Howard Lake. The funeral was scheduled for the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Riverside, Calif., Thursday.
