Vandalism still a problem at Lions Park By Andrea Vargo If they can't break out the windows in the bathrooms, vandals at Lions Park find something else to ruin, said maintenance worker Todd Anderson at the Howard Lake City Council meeting Tuesday. First, vandals broke the windows, and the maintenance department replaced them with cement blocks. Last week, vandals returned and broke four lights, he said. The city will replace those lights with a floodlight system for the safety of the residents. Anderson told the council the vandals also made toothpicks out of a picnic table, which maintenance workers spent the day rebuilding.
