Fresh rolls, pizza are at Deli Max

By Lynda Jensen

Oven-baked cinnamon rolls, fresh salads, and seven different kinds of pizzas are some of the menu items offered at a new deli that opened its doors last week at the Pit Stop, located just east of Dura Supreme in Howard Lake.

Deli Max joins the Pit Stop convenience store, Howard Lake Auto Center, Fast Lube, and car wash; all under one roof.

The deli will offer breakfast croissants, five kinds of salads, submarine sandwiches, sweet rolls and other kinds of goodies, owners Rod and Kathy Miller said.

The business will be managed by Brad and Michelle Miller.

It will be open from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Highway 12 is open, and then from 5 a.m. to midnight after then, Kathy said.

The telephone number is (320) 543-0194.

The 15,000 square foot building also houses an outlet for the Minneapolis Star Tribune and Mr. Rooter in the back.
