Lester Prairie All School Reunion all set
The Lester Prairie High School 100-Year All School Reunion is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, June 22-23.
The following are some of the events that will be taking place:
Friday, June 22
Fun Drive for all car enthusiasts, car collectors, and street rodders.
Join in on the fun drive through the countryside, which will end at Lester Prairie Park for Longhorn Days celebration events (street dance, food, and refreshments).
There will be no charge for the drive. Interested persons should meet at the band stand across from Jonio's restaurant at 7 p.m. to join in the fun. Everyone is welcome to participate.
Saturday, June 23
5K Run 8 a.m., St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Call (320) 395-4153 or (320) 395-2029 for more information.
Golf tournament ShadowBrooke Golf Course. Contact the golf club for tee time at (320) 395-4250.
Mass band 8:30 a.m. All who have registered for band should meet at the school gym for practice. Mr. Wittgraf will be directing.
Mass chorus 9:30 a.m. All who have registered for chorus should meet at the school gym for practice. Carrie Knott will be directing.
Bus tour of the town 11 a.m. to noon. The tour will begin at the school. A shuttle bus and parking will be available at St. Paul Lutheran Church parking lot, 126 Maple St. N., from 10:30 to 11 a.m., to go to the school, and again from noon to 12:45 p.m., from the school to St. Paul's church parking lot.
Registration at school 11 a.m.
Program at school 1 p.m. An all school reunion program will be conducted at the Lester Prairie School from 1 to 2 p.m., and will include the mass chorus and band.
Open to visiting 2:30 to 4 p.m.
Banquet A buffet dinner will be served from 4 to 6 p.m.
After the banquet there will be a shuttle bus available to take anyone participating in the parade to the parade route, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Parade 7 p.m. Anyone wishing to put together a float for the parade (class, homecoming king/queen, all-conference, state teams, music, former staff, etc.) may do so by contacting Scott at (320) 395-2172.

As a reminder to Lester Prairie residents, it's clean-up time! During the reunion, a bus tour is scheduled Saturday, June 23, 11a.m. to noon for the alumni and guest. We ask that homeowners, business places, city parks, and properties take special interest in clean-up, paint, lawn mowing, whatever is needed to beautify your property. We want to be proud of our city, so please participate.
