Two arrested in meth manufacturing sting



Agents from the Wright County Drug Task Force and the Drug
Enforcement Administration executed a search warrant March 29 for drugs
at the Stephen Gagnon and Charlie Jewett residence located at 462 Ash Ave.
So., Maple Lake.

The Wright County Emergency Response Team was used to secure
the residence.

Located in the residence were items consistent with the
clandestine manufacturing of methamphetamine.

“Safety Kleen,” a hazardous waste disposal company,
was called to the scene to dispose of the contaminated items.

Gagnon was arrested at the scene for first degree conspiracy
to manufacture methamphetamine.

Jewett was not present at the time of the search warrant,
but was arrested April 2, for first degree conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine.
