Burglar strikes at Littfin'sBy Julie Yurek A burglar struck Littfin Lumber Company in the early morning hours of March 9. Stolen items included a radio, two computers, computer-related objects, cell phones, and other small miscellaneous items, according to the police report. Steve Laxen, an employee of Littfin's, reported the burglary Saturday morning. Laxen found the broken window, he said. "Most of the stolen items were computer-related," Laxen said. "We estimate the value loss at $28,000," he added. The police department does not have any suspects at this time, Police Chief Mike Henrich said. The incident is under investigation, he added. A previous burglary occurred in November 1999. In that incident, mostly cash was stolen from the business. No one has been arrested in connection with the 1999 burglary. |
