LP man wanted for questioning
By Ryan Gueningsman
Police are looking for Daniel M. Henson, 25, of Lester Prairie after he left for work in Hutchinson Jan. 9 and didn't return home.
Henson was last seen driving a tan four-door 1995 Buick Regal Sedan, which belongs to a Lester Prairie resident.
The registered owner of the vehicle gave Henson permission to drive the vehicle, but now wants it back, according to Lester Prairie Police Chief Bob Carlson.
In 1999, Henson was charged with motor vehicle tampering in New Jersey, and also has a criminal history in Pennsylvania, Carlson said.
As of now, Henson has not been charged with anything, and is just wanted for questioning, Carlson said. Henson is believed to be in Texas staying with a friend, he added.
Carlson said he does not consider Henson a threat to others, but that Henson did indicate in notes that he may intend to harm himself.
Henson has light brown hair, is about 5 feet 11 inches tall, and weighs 275 pounds. He wears glasses, has a goatee, and was wearing a silver and gold watch on his left wrist and a gold pinky ring on his left hand, according to an attempt to locate flyer released by the Lester Prairie Police Department.
If located, contact the Lester Prairie Police Department at (320) 395-2100 or through the McLeod County Sheriff's dispatch at (320) 864-3134.
