With the holiday season now upon us, it’s easy to get all caught up in the hustle and bustle of the holiday and forget to give thanks for all of the greatest gifts each of us have been blessed with.

On Thanksgiving Day there are many of us who sit shoulder to shoulder at the dinner table with friends and loved ones, casual acquaintances, even strangers.

Before we reach for the bread and butter, mashed potatoes, or gravy ladle, many of us will pause for a few words of thanks for all we’re surrounded with.

If we didn’t celebrate Thanksgiving Day, most of us would continue in our busy mode and wouldn’t realize the impact of all that we have been blessed with.

We find it so easy to take things for granted, or sometimes we don’t appreciate the little things others do for us.

Every day, with little reminders to ourselves, may our attitude reflect a surge of confidence that it is our responsibility to take our God-given talents and make a difference daily.

On Thanksgiving Day we should all be reminded that we should not only be thankful for what we have been blessed with within that day.

We should also be grateful and thankful for the promise of more blessings to come.
