It's not too late

Are you ready?

Here it comes – the busiest and most stressful time of the year! Only 32 more shopping days until Christmas!

But it’s not too late. It’s not too late to:

Join in worship.

Experience the season differently.

Spend quality time with family and friends.

Use good judgment.

Simply pray.

Invite a friend to worship.

Shift your focus to God.

Take time to center.

Help those in need.

Engage in intentional relationships.

Give generously to God.

Interrupt chaos with peace.

Feel God’s presence in all that you do.

Thank God for all your blessings.

It’s not too late to re-think how you choose to experience the remaining days of the year.

Will you keep God at the center of all you do, or will you look to “catch up” with God after you make your list of New Year’s resolutions?

Will the retail conglomerates receive more of your time, attention, and money than the infant King?

Will you be in the right place when you say, “O Jesus, thank you for this place?”

If “tis the season to be jolly” causes more heartburn and acid reflux than it does joy, maybe it’s time to stop the insanity. Perhaps it’s time to try something new.

As we approach Thanksgiving and the season of Advent, let us prepare our hearts in such ways that we may always be in the presence of God.

May all joy be yours in believing!
