Hansen store in Dassel to be auctioned

The former Hansen’s Our Own Hardware & Rent-It Center of Dassel will be sold and liquidated at an auction Saturday, Sept. 27 at the store.

The 10,000-square-foot commercial building, owned by Chris Hansen, and its contents will be auctioned by Benoit’s Auction and Clerking Service of Dassel.

The store has a brick exterior. Together with its 5,000-square foot wood-framed storage building, it covers 0.42 acres on Third Street in downtown Dassel.

Tools, sporting goods, plumbing hardware, automotive items, lawn and garden items, builders and electrical hardware, appliances, collectibles, office equipment, a key-cutting machine, and shelving from the store will be sold also.

The auction begins at 9:30 a.m., and the building will be auctioned at 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be available and the auction will be conducted indoors. Inspection will be at 8 a.m. For a complete list, go to:
