A narcotics search warrant recently executed by law enforcement recovered several pounds of processed marijuana at a Howard Lake residence, according to Howard Lake Police Chief Dan Lang.

Homeowner Ronald William Jones, 36, is being charged with felony level possession and cultivation of marijuana after police found 15 actively growing plants in his basement, along with the processed marijuana, and an abundance of growing equipment July 7, according to Lang.

In fact, “two pickup loads of grow equipment was seized” during the search, Lang said.

The case is currently under investigation. The search warrant was executed by the Howard Lake Police Department with assistance from the Wright County Drug Task Force.
