Two different kinds of love

There has never been, and never will be, a child that is born into the world that will have been conceived unnoticed.

God knew you well in advance, and has a special plan for you.

Jeremiah 1:5 – “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I set you apart. I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

There once were two women who had different ideas for the word love and the love of life. The two women never knew each other.

One you do not know or remember and the other one you call mother. Two different individuals shaped to make you one.

One became your guiding star. The other became your sun.

The first one gave you life, and the second taught you to live it.

The first mother - you grew in her tummy; the second mother - you grew in her heart.

The first gave you a need for love, the second was there to give it.

One gave you a nationality, the other gave you a birth name.

One gave you emotions, the other calmed your fears.

One saw your first precious smile, the other dried your tears.

One sought for you a home she could not provide, the other prayed for a child and her prayer was answered.

One said, “Hello,” and the other one said, “Goodbye.”

One taught you to pray, while the other prayed on behalf of you.

From infant to adulthood, one may wonder what you were a product of – heredity or environment. Neither.

You were brought into the world given God’s grace and a heartbeat that you share as one.

Everyday you became wise and strong for you learned about the two different kinds of love.
