Cokato Twp. sprays for weeds
Cokato Township has been spraying for wild parsnip (a noxious weed), Clerk Brad Morris said.

“It’s not too bad in Cokato yet, but they’re trying to keep it down,” he said.

The township is also graveling roads, he said. Work should be completed sometime this month.

Stockholm Twp. hearing July 27
Stockholm Township will have a hearing Monday, July 27 at 8 p.m. at the Stockholm Township Hall to consider vacating part of Rosewood Avenue, Clerk Diane Johnson said.

If the petition is approved, the land would go back to nearby property owners, she said.

“I can see where the landowners would like to have it back,” Johnson added.

The next regular township meeting will be Tuesday, Aug. 11.

Dassel Twp. completes 263rd St.
Dassel Township recently completed improvements to 263rd St., Clerk Karin Colberg said.

More information about other road projects will be available next month, Colberg said.

Kingston to have weed inspection
Kingston Township will be inspecting the township for noxious weeds July 24, Clerk Gail Schiefelbein said.

French Lake finishes crack filling
French Lake Township recently completed crack filling 3-1/2 miles of township roads, including 55th St. and Quiner St. NW, Clerk Rosanne Peterson said.

The township meeting is at 7 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month, she added.
