LESTER PRAIRIE, MN – Lester Prairie native Doris LaMott Hoel has once again gained attention for her restaurant.

Hoel is chef and owner of Chateau LaMothe in Burnsville, a restaurant, wine bar, and event center that she opened in September 2005.

Hoel was recently featured on the Showcase Minnesota program on KARE 11 television.

Hoel prepared her version of a Julia Childs-inspired recipe, boeuf bourguignon.

The recipe can be found at: www.kare11.com/life/recipes/recipes_article.aspx?storyid=828254&catid=382.

The Chateau was recognized earlier this year when it won second place in the best wine bar category, and third place for the best wine list on Mpls/St. Paul Magazine’s best restaurant list.

The Chateau is a family business. Hoel’s husband, David, is the bar and front-of-house manager; their daughter, Alyson, is assistant general manager, and is involved in all areas of the business, and their son Chris tends bar, does maintenance, and handles web design and advertising for the business.

Chateau Lamothe is located at 14351 Nicollet Court in Burnsville. More information is available by calling (952) 435-7709, or on the company’s web site, www.ChateauLamotheEvents.com.
