COKATO, MN - Seeing the lunch crowd at the Lucky Kitchen opening day Wednesday, seemed to be proof that the town of Cokato is excited and ready for a Chinese restaurant to come to town.
The Lucky Kitchen Chinese Restaurant, located in the former Scoops building east on Highway 12, passed inspection last Monday and opened its doors to the public June 17.
The Lucky Kitchen has a large menu, complete with wontons, chow mein, seafood, beef, chicken, and much more.
Owner Joyce Yang recommends the General Tso’s Chicken and beef with broccoli.
All food is for either dine in or take out. For take out, call (320) 286-2009.
The lunch specials, served from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., are $4.95, with all items served with a choice of fried or white rice.
While supplies last, the Lucky Kitchen is giving away prizes to those whose orders total $30 or $50.
The Lucky Kitchen is open seven days a week, Monday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
