DASSEL, MN – The Mike and Roxanne Olson family of Dassel lost their home in a fire last Monday. The house was unoccupied when the fire started, so no one was injured. Even the pet cat escaped.
Both Dassel and Cokato fire departments fought the fire for hours. The roof collapsed, and the main level was gutted. All that is left is a shell of the house, according to Dassel Fire Chief Dale Grochow. Grochow said the cause of the fire has not been determined yet.
