WRIGHT, CARVER COUNTIES, MN – The township news for the week is as follows:

Middleville Twp. grants gravel mining CUP
Despite concern from residents, Marysville Township officials granted a gravel mining conditional use permit for Annandale Rock Products on the property of Roger Klugow, Clerk Joey Berg said.

“There was considerable opposition shown,” Berg said. “However, it is an allowable conditional use on agricultural land.”

At the April meeting, Jim Raymond was re-elected as chair of the board.

Middleville Township will also be having its own web site soon, Berg added.
