MEEKER, MCLEOD, WRIGHT COUNTIES – As part of a multi-department investigation, approximately $10,000 of stolen property has been recovered in Delano, from two separate burglaries that occurred recently at a Kingston residence.

Search warrants were executed June 19 at two separate addresses in the city of Delano, which resulted in the recovery of a number of stolen items.

The first burglary was reported May 31 by Martin Hendrickson of Kingston, in which a number of items were allegedly stolen from his residence on CSAH 27, according to the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office. The items included a number of tools, an air compressor, a welder, a large tool cabinet, along with a Snap On and a Craftsman tool chest.

Then June 14, the Meeker County Sheriff’s office received a report of a burglary in progress at the same residence.

At that time, Joel Patrick Trebesch, age 42, of Winsted, and Kyle Robert Trebesch, age 19, of Glencoe, were arrested.

The two have since been charged with felony third degree burglary, felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor theft, and misdemeanor receiving stolen property.

Stolen property was also recovered in Delano from a burglary in Woodland Township, in southern Wright County, during the execution of these search warrants.

A complaint warrant has been issued for Alan Arthur Klingelhoets, age 52, of Delano, for felony possession of stolen property. Laura Lee Diemert, age 44, who was currently residing at one of the addresses, was also arrested on unrelated theft warrants during the search warrants, according to Meeker County.

The case remains under investigation.

This was a multiple agency, joint investigation between the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, McLeod County Sheriff’s Office, Glencoe Police Department, Wright County Sheriff’s Office, and the Wright County Drug Task Force.
