McLEOD, CARVER, WRIGHT COUNTIES, MN – Three area townships have updates for this week.

Winsted Twp. to inspect roads
Fall road inspection for Winsted Township will take place Thursday, Oct. 14, before the board meeting, Clerk Susan Goebel stated. Notice of the road inspection will be posted on the township board at Winsted Co-op Creamery.

Also, tree trimming on 212th Street and Grass Lake Road will take place in the next two to three weeks.

Hollywood Twp. lowering tower
The project for lowering the communications tower on land owned by Hollywood Township near the intersection of Carver County Road 21 and Carver County Road 122 is almost complete, Clerk Becky Burns noted.

The tower has been lowered from 659 feet to 320 feet. The only thing left to do is to remove the concrete from the guy wires.

Middleville Twp. to apply redrock
Middleville Township maintenance worker Randy Klugow will be applying more redrock to the south end of Keats Avenue, by Hwy 12, due to heavy commercial use, Clerk Joey Berg reported.
