WRIGHT, MEEKER COUNTIES, MN It may not feel like spring yet, but several area townships have spring elections and annual meetings, all set for Tuesday, March 9.
All townships, including those that do not have elections this year, have set annual meetings.
In case of inclement weather, the meetings and elections may be postponed until Tuesday, March 16.
French Lake Township
Two incumbents are filing for the open French Lake Township positions, with polls open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the French Lake Township Hall.
Paul Erickson is re-filing for the supervisor position, and Rosanne Peterson is re-filing as clerk.
The annual meeting will begin at 8 p.m.
The annual meeting is set for 7 p.m. at the Darwin Township Hall.
In Stockholm Township, Diane Johnson is re-filing for the clerk position, and Paul Davis is re-filing for the supervisor position.
The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., with the annual meeting starting at 8:15 p.m.
The annual meeting for Cokato Township will start at 8:05 p.m. at the Cokato Township Hall.
Polls are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Tim Gosswiller has re-filed for the open supervisor position, and Brad Morris has re-filed for the clerk position.
Jeff Nowak has filed for the open supervisor position in Collinwood Township, and Larry Ostlund has re-filed for the clerk position.
Polls will be open from 5 to 8 p.m.
The annual meeting will begin at 8:05 p.m. at the Collinwood Township Hall
The clerk’s office will be open Saturday, March 6 from 10 a.m. until noon for absentee voting.
The polls for the Dassel Township election will be open from 5 to 8 p.m., with the annual meeting beginning at 8:15 p.m. at the Dassel Area Historical Society building.
Erhard Woetzel re-filed for the open supervisor position, and Karin Colberg re-filed for the clerk position.
Polls in Ellsworth Township will be open from 2 to 8 p.m. The annual meeting will start at 8:15 p.m.
Dave Tipka has re-filed for the open supervisor position, and Gordy Seiffert has re-filed for the clerk position.
In Kingston Township, the annual meeting is at 8 p.m. at the Kingston Community Center.
