DELANO, MN The Wright County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a forced entry and theft from the parish office of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Delano.
The sheriff’s office responded to the church on River Street for a report of a burglary Oct. 25 just before 9 a.m.
Between the hours of 10:15 p.m. Oct. 24 and 6:30 a.m. Oct. 25, someone had entered the parish office, as well as the school offices, and stole an estimated $27 in cash, according to the sheriff’s office.
No signs of forced entry were found in the parish office, but the school office doors sustained damage from the use of a pry tool. The scene was processed for evidence.
