DASSEL, COKATO, MN Neighbors across the country will recognize National Night Out (NNO) Tuesday, Aug. 2 as they take the time to get to know each other and their law enforcement agencies in an effort to improve awareness and safety.
Several neighborhoods in Cokato will celebrate National Night Out from 6 to 8 p.m.
Ten neighborhoods have signed up thus far with Cokato City Hall and there is still time for more, according to City Administrator Don Levens.
Providing demonstrations to the participating neighborhoods will be Wright County Sheriff’s Office, Cokato Volunteer Fire Department, and Cokato Ambulance Service.
For those neighborhoods that do sign up, the city will help with necessary supplies to help reduce the cost of the neighborhood gatherings. It also helps to insure a visit from public safety officials.
For more information, call city hall at (320) 286-5505.
