DASSEL, MN Adding even more variety to Dassel’s occasional stores is VuSaari, a store with an assortment of designer-inspired handbags and accessories for women.
Owner Angela Stump of Litchfield will be located at 225 Atlantic Ave. West, sharing a location with Marcella Craswell with MC FROG.
“It’s so neat that Dassel is becoming a little Buffalo,” Stump said. “It’s so much fun to see the activity in Dassel that [these stores create].”
This will be Stump’s opening weekend in Dassel, with store hours being Thursday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Stump invites shoppers to stop in and check out her new store with designer-inspired and designer handbags that sell for 20 to 40 less than the suggested retail.
Designers have included Randolf Duke, Serena Williams, Hot in Hollywood, LYDC, Nicole Lee, and more. Retail prices range from $15 to $74, with the majority around the $30-40 price point.
Also inside her store are an assortment of accessories including jewelry, earrings, necklaces, sunglasses, and designer inspired reading glasses.
“Having this [store] is a lot of fun for me; it’s like my dream,” Stump said. “I like women to look and feel good for not a whole lot of money.”
Adding a personal touch and style to her store, Stump also makes and sells handmade, leather-cuff bracelets, which can be ordered custom-made with pendants.
“I’m, like, a jack-of-all-trades,” Stump said, noting she also offers graphic design services.
Weight loss challenge
As a way to make things fun for the women coming into her store, she wants to host various events, such as purse parties and a weight loss challenge.
Some of the things that are on a lot of women’s minds are weight loss and getting healthy, Stump said. To make it fun, she is hosting a weight loss party Sunday, Sept. 25 at 2 p.m.
Participants will be introduced to Visalus, a weight loss product that offers a Body By Vi 90 Day Challenge.
Women will be able to try the product in her store and also enjoy a shopping experience with discounted items.
