May the Bible be your source, and scripture find you the answer

It is an absolute honor to know that God is the author of a book, known as the Bible, that is forever selling. It is a book that has never been considered outdated, nor has it been know to fail mankind.

This book, the Bible, has been specially designed for all ages. If you will take notice, all the stories compiled were never written or ever started with, “once upon a time.”

For those of you who have opened up the Bible to read from it, wasn’t it worth your time? Did you ever start to read and find encouragement, or a bright light within the words you read? The Bible was designed as a book of complete truth, obedience, and a guide for all in times of need.

The words written were never meant to hurt you; they are there to help, encourage, and heal your biggest wound.

Some words are written as comfort when you are hurt, worried, or frightened. You will even find words that will penetrate and softly blanket your heart and soul.

The Bible was, from the start, “God breathed.” We must understand that God is all powerful, with comfort no human can ever match.

If you take your bible and read Genesis 18, the Lord said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a suitable partner for him.”

In Genesis 21, it says, “So the Lord God cast a deep sleep on the man, and while he was asleep, he took out one of his ribs and closed up its flesh. The Lord God then built up into a woman, the rib that he had taken from the man.

Genesis 24 says, “That is why a man leaves his father and mother and clings to his wife, and the two of them become one body.

These are a few Bible scriptures written that oppose same sex marriages.

How does one speak contrary to what the Bible has said? We are all accountable for our vote, and for what we feel in our heart the day we actually place our vote.

We need to keep in mind, what is “God breathed,” and what is not. The question is, should the Minnesota Constitution be amended to provide that only a union of one man and one woman should be valid or recognized as a marriage in Minnesota? “Yes”

May the Bible be your source, and scripture find you the answer the day you cast your individual vote.
