DELANO, MN – Many teachers from the Delano Public School District attended Monday night’s school board meeting, and two teachers addressed the school board regarding teacher contracts during the public comment portion of the meeting.

Long-time teachers Lindsay Wallace and Kathy Workman spoke to the board, both talking about their long histories with the school district, and the work they have done both inside and outside of the classroom in various school and community activities.

Later in the meeting, board chairman Peter Brasket provided an update on teacher contract negotiations. Watch for the complete story in Monday’s Delano Herald Journal.
