FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, MN – A Delano woman has died following being found unresponsive in a hot tub in Franklin Township Wednesday morning.

Darla Juday, 55, of Delano, was pronounced dead at Abbott Northwestern Hospital later that day, according to the Wright County Sheriff’s Office.

Notified of a person not breathing in a hot tub at a residence in the 10000-block of Dalton Avenue SE, the sheriff’s office administered first aid to Juday.

She was transported by Ridgeview Ambulance to Ridgeview Hospital in Waconia, and was then transferred to Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, according to the sheriff’s office.

In addition to the sheriff’s office, Watertown Fire Department and Ridgeview Ambulance responded to the scene.

The incident remains under investigation by the Wright County Sheriff’s Office.

Arrangements for Juday are pending with Iten Funeral Home of Delano.
