DELANO, MN – Wright County authorities are investigating a reported break-in at the Delano American Legion June 11.

At 4:30 a.m., a Wright County sheriff’s deputy responded to the Legion for a possible burglary. The deputy cleared the building and secured the scene.

The deputy observed the south side entrance door appered to have been forced open, according to the sheriff’s office. Several safes were opened and gone through, and the ATM machine was also tampered with.

An unknown amount of money is believed to be missing from the business, and the investigation into the incident continues. If anyone has information, contact the sheriff’s office at (763) 682-1162.
