Airs live on ABC Saturday at 8 p.m.

LAS VEGAS, NV Miss Minnesota Natalie Davis, a 2008 Dassel-Cokato High School graduate, is currently in Las Vegas preparing to compete in the Miss America pageant airing live on ABC Saturday, Jan. 14 at 8 p.m.
Davis left for Las Vegas to compete for the title of Miss America Jan. 4, the day after her 22nd birthday where she will spend 11 days doing publicity, rehearsals, and competing in the preliminary competitions.
The Miss America final competition will take place at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
Davis was crowned Miss Minnesota last June giving her the opportunity to compete against 52 other women for the title of Miss America.
People have an opportunity to vote Davis into the top 15 for Miss America as their America’s Choice Finalist.

The National Miss America platform is Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospital, a network of 170 hospitals across the US that works to raise funds for children and families facing medical challenges. Gillette Children’s Hospital is Minnesota’s CMN hospital.
Davis recorded a lullaby CD for her platform entitled “Sweet Dreams,” which can be purchased through her blog, nataliedavis.weebly.com, or at the Enterprise Dispatch office in Cokato.
