Camden Twp. encourages the start of fire boards
The Camden Township board is encouraging cities that it has fire contracts with to consider setting up a fire board, as a way to conveniently communicate with the township.
“We have some fire boards that are working great. We have one, sometimes two, meetings a year,” Clerk Roger Sauerbrey noted.
Sauerbrey reported that everything is going well between Camden Township and contracting cities, and establishing a fire board could be a way to further enhance the relationship.
In other business, the township is researching groups to do road cleanup this year, but will not know what grant money will be available until February.
