Watertown Twp. meeting tonight
The board of appeal and equalization meeting for Watertown Township will take place at 6 p.m. tonight (Monday, May 7) at 3580 Co. Rd. 10 N. in Watertown, Clerk Ann Bruner noted.
The purpose of the meeting is to determine whether taxable property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor, and to determine whether corrections need to be made. Residents who believe the value or classification of their property is incorrect should contact their assessor’s office to discuss their concerns. Those that are still unsatisfied after discussing the matter with the assessor may appear before the board of appeal and equalization.
Dock to be available in Middleville
Middleville Township and the Howard Lake Sportsmen’s Club are installing a dock on the north end of Howard Lake for use this summer, Clerk Joey Berg reported.
Also, at the April Middleville Township meeting, Jim Raymond was re-elected as board chairman.
CUPs approved in Bergen Twp.
At the April Bergen Township meeting, conditional use permits were approved for Stuart and Cheryl Stahlke for an auto repair shop, and for Zach Zoytckes for a second farm dwelling, Clerk Amy Meyer noted.
The board also approved a service contract with the Glencoe Fire Department.
