CARVER, McLEOD COUNTIES, MN – Two area townships have updates this week:

Camden discusses gravel options
The Camden Township board has been discussing ways to keep gravel on the roads during dry weather, Clerk Roger Sauerbrey noted. In addition, the board is talking with other townships about sharing some equipment for dust coating.

Bergen Twp. changes Dec. 13 meeting time
The Thursday, Dec. 13 Bergen Township meeting will start at 8 p.m. instead of the usual 7 p.m., Clerk Amy Meyer noted.

At the November township meeting, the board approved the township assessment agreement. The township is also getting its truck prepared for snowplowing season.
