Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. It’s a time for showing our love to family, friends, and special people in our lives.
One of our basic needs is to be loved; to have someone who cares for us.
Real love comes from those who care about mankind. It’s a built-in character that shines from within and spreads like wildfire.
One thing about that four letter word, love, it’s often hard to describe. It comes in all shapes and sizes and to all ages of mankind.
Yet, there are no requirements needed for passing love along the way to others. There’s no job description, sales tax, dress code, time clock, expiration date, refrigeration, permit, batteries, registrations, identification cards, or strings attached.
Love is simple. It is the experience of joy. The voice of love is always calling out to you.
Love wants to hold you, comfort you. Love knows you. It knows what you have to offer life. Love will not leave you, nor will it dishonor you. Love will not rush you.
Love protects you. Love is ready and available at all times and in all circumstances. Love understands what the eyes can’t see or the voice can’t speak.
Love is a natural instinct. Love makes us feel good because it is good for the heart, soul, and mind.
We are all naturally a product of love. As this love overflows from us into the lives of others, we are shedding the love that God has instilled in us abroad to others in our needy world.
