MEEKER COUNTY, MN Three area townships have updates this week:
Dassel Twp. looks at road signs
The Dassel Township Board recently hired Sign Solutions to take care of its road signs, Clerk Karin Colberg noted.
Ellsworth Twp. hoping to obtain a fireproof filing cabinet
The Ellsworth Township Board would like to obtain a used, four-drawer, letter-sized, fireproof filing cabinet in good condition. Anyone who knows of one that’s available can call Larry Graf at (612) 605-7805.
The township ended 2012 with bills paid, and many repairs and improvements made, Clerk Gordy Seiffert noted. The late, dry fall allowed for several of the shoulders on township roads to be rebuilt, as well.
“The Ellsworth board wants to wish each in the township (our neighbors) the best, and a prosperous 2013 as we work together to keep our area a great place to live,” Seiffert noted.
No changes in French Lake Twp.
French Lake Township Clerk Rosanne Peterson said no changes were made to the township schedule for 2013.
“We still provide recycling to the residents with a Waste Management container at our town hall, and the regular monthly meetings take place the first Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m.,” Peterson noted. “Every year, we provide a junk amnesty in the month of June. Also, township residents can sign up for dust coating when we give notice of it.”
