AR Engh is this week's Home & Yard Spotlight
April 14, 2014

As the weather heats up, AR Engh is ready to tackle any air conditioning needs, whether it’s purchasing a new unit or maintaining a current one

Recently awarded the Customer Care Dealer Award by American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning for customer satisfaction, AR Engh is committed to quality service and lasting products. The award was made possible by obtaining 95 percent satisfaction through customer surveys for installation and service.

AR Engh has been installing American Standard air conditioning units for eight years and has had nothing but great success, said Mike Welz, sales and service manager.

American Standard equipment is reliable, efficient, comes with a 10-year-parts warranty, and is highest-ranked for the least repairs, Welz noted.

Air conditioners are rated typically for 10-12 years if properly maintained.

With the newer efficiency air conditioners, the buy-back will pay for itself in energy savings, Welz explained.

Currently, American Standard and utility companies are offering rebates up to $1,700 with a purchase of a full heating and air conditioning system.

AR Engh reminds homeowners that now is a great time to schedule a spring cleaning and safety check on their existing air conditioning unit to ensure that it’s running safely and efficiently for this summer.

“It’s important to have air conditioning cleaned and inspected to extend its life expectancy and save on operating expenses and energy,” Welz said.

Currently, AR Engh is offering a spring cleaning special for $135 through Monday, June 30. Also with the deal, customers will receive $25 off their next service call and a free six-month supply of air filters.

Geothermal – a great alternative to propane

With the higher cost of propane, homeowners may want to consider geothermal as an alternative when it comes to heating a home.

Geothermal technology uses renewable energy from the earth as a heat source costing 80 percent less than conventional systems.

Get your sump pumps checked

To prepare for the spring and summer storm season, AR Engh recommends having your sump pump checked to ensure it is operating properly.

It is also recommended to purchase a battery back-up in the event of a power outage.

Other services offered

In addition to 24/7 HVAC services, AR Engh offers around-the-clock service for plumbing, as well as sewer and drain systems.

“Our team of 12 will make sure you’re satisfied, whether it’s installation or service,” Welz assured.
