HOWARD LAKE, MN Howard Lake City Council chose to interview four candidates for its city administrator position at its meeting Tuesday.
Candidates were numbered and discussed without names until the finalists were selected.
The finalists are:
Jeffrey Cadwell is the current city administrator in the City of Mahnomen, and has been employed there for the past two years.
Prior to that, Cadwell was the city administrator in Browns Valley, and has held other non profit and private sector positions.
Cadwell has a master’s degree in public administration.
Schawn Johnson was recently employed as the city manager’s assistant in New Brighton for seven years.
He has also worked as the assistant city administrator for Arden Hills.
Johnson has a master’s degree in public administration.
Devin Massopust has been employed as a management analyst for the City of Delano for the past year.
He has also served as a campaign and press intern in South Dakota and Washington, DC.
Massopust is currently enrolled in a master’s of public administration program.
Jennifer Nash is the current interim city administrator in Howard Lake, and has been employed there for 18 months.
Nash was previously employed as the executive assistant to the superintendent of Sartell-St. Stephen School District, and has served as the assistant to the city administrator of Northfield.
She is currently enrolled in a master’s of public administration program.
