To the Planning Commission, the council appointed Angela Kalthoff and reappointed Jon Krieg. Mayor Dale Graunke will serve as Planning Commission liaison.

To the Public Safety Commission, the council appointed Matthew Boelter and Tracy Vetruba, and reappointed James Anderson and Judith Criego. Sutherland will serve as council liaison to the commission.

To the Water, Light, and Power Commission, the council appointed Larry Nelson and reappointed Randy Keranen.

Councilwoman Holly Schrupp will serve as council liaison to the Delano Fire Commission.

Councilman Jason Franzen will serve as council liaison to the Highway 12 Safety Coalition, Wright County Safe Schools Committee, and Wright County Area Transportation.

Councilwoman Betsy Stolfa will serve as council liaison to the Senior Advisory Board.

Odds and ends
In other business, the council:

• awarded a bid of $26,000 for the levee storm sewer project to Burschville Construction, Inc., of Hanover. The project will extend the existing culvert through the north end of the existing levee through the newly constructed levee to the west. Three bids were received, ranging from $26,000 to $35,945.

• discussed property acquisition for the Railroad Avenue extension. City Administrator Phil Kern expects the council to be able to act on agreements for three properties along the path of the extension to be approved later in February.
