Stop this health care takeover

An open letter to our federal legislators: It is never the right time to do the wrong thing.

America is the home of the free that trusts in God, not the pampered and coddled, unwilling to attempt to care for themselves.

Vote to stop this insane government takeover of health care. According to the Oct. 20 Wall Street Journal, page A20, “Medicare spending . . . a program that began at $4 billion now costs $428 billion.”

This is 107 times as much since 1965. Now, Obama wants health care not just for those over age 65, but the entire population, and says this will save money. Historical facts of Medicare tell us that is a huge lie.

One of the biggest reasons health care costs have skyrocketed is lawyers. Since 1965, they have been allowed to start suing doctors. Doctors, in response, order needless tests and procedures to protect themselves from the money-thirsty lawyers.

Tort reform is needed to stop lawyers like former Democratic Senator John Edwards from becoming a multi-millionaire by suing doctors. Huge settlements drive up health insurance rates to pay for these trumped up legal fees.

The Democratic Party is beholden to the greedy trial lawyers – that is the real problem with American health care.

Stop spending money we do not have! England is now trying to privatize some of its bankrupt nationalized programs. Germany just elected conservatives vowing to dismantle some of their unsustainable government programs. Communism, socialism, and fascism have been worldwide failures. Why are you supporting destroying capitalism in this country?

Recently, the Obama administration has been bashing Fox News – forcefully trying to crush a free press. Obama’s criticism of Fox is chillingly similar to Germany’s crushing dissent in the 1930s.

I was shocked a few years ago when I visited the first concentration camp near Munich. The first people arrested were journalists, clergy, and politicians critical of NAZI policies. Opposition had to be silenced first, before the evil could proceed uncriticized.

President Obama is a charismatic, but deceptive, egotistical, power-hungry writer and orator with dictatorial tendencies who wants to rule the world. We already had one of those, Adolph Hitler.

The world cannot afford to be deceived again by glowing speeches hiding devious actions stealing our freedoms, making us serfs of an all-powerful government.
